drawing and painting curriculum

Gesina studied historical painting techniques with Lukas Stofferis and Micha Leeflang at the museum school of the Catharijneconvent Museum in Utrecht. She works with historical materials such as woods, chalk and hare glue, pigments, oils, eggs, animal glues, colophony, bees wax etc. These materials are the historical instrument maker's logical preference, being already stocked and available in their own workshop.

Her paintings have an atmosphere of the van Eyck era about them. However, her drawings are spontaneous and very up to date.
